The Stay Close is a complete set. A soft everyday collar, a Bluetooth locator, and a protective silicone holder that keeps the locator seated flat against the strap where it will not catch or swing. Choose Pink or Green in three adjustable sizes.

Finding the right size
Measure around the widest part of your dog’s neck, then add two fingers’ width.
- Small — 26–42 cm neck · 1.5 cm wide
- Medium — 31–50 cm neck · 2 cm wide
- Large — 38–60 cm neck · 2.5 cm wide
Measurements are approximate; allow for a 1–2 cm variance. Between two sizes? Take the larger one — there is room to adjust down.

Soft PU leather with a nylon lining, in three adjustable sizes. It is the collar they wear every day, not a gadget strapped on top of one.

The silicone holder grips the locator and sits flat against the strap, so there is nothing swinging, catching or jingling while they run.

What this is not
- It is not a live GPS tracker with a moving map
- It does not use a SIM card or mobile data

Live-GPS collars cost several times more and carry a monthly fee. If that is what you need, buy that instead — we would rather tell you now than take your money.

What comes in the box?
All three pieces. One Stay Close collar in your chosen colour and size, one Bluetooth locator, and the protective silicone holder that seats the locator flat against the strap.
Nothing else to buy to start using it, and no monthly fee.
Which phones does it work with?
Both. It works natively with Apple Find My on iPhone and Android Find Hub on Android — the location features already built into your phone. There is no separate Happy Tails app to download.
Is the tracker an Apple AirTag?
No. It’s our own Bluetooth tracker, not an Apple AirTag. It works natively with Apple Find My on iPhone and Google Find Hub on Android, so it shows up in the app already on your phone. No extra app, no monthly fee.
Will the locator fall out?
No. The silicone holder grips the locator on all sides and sits flat against the strap, so nothing dangles where it can snag on a fence or a bush.
Is it comfortable for everyday wear?
Yes. Soft PU leather with a nylon lining against the neck, in widths that scale with the size: 1.5 cm on Small up to 2.5 cm on Large, so a small dog never carries a big dog’s collar.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. There is no subscription, no account to open and nothing to cancel. You pay once for the collar, the locator and the holder — that is the whole cost.
How far away does it work?
It is a Bluetooth locator, not a live GPS unit. Nearby, your phone picks it up directly. Further away, its location updates whenever it passes near other phones on the Find My or Find Hub network — which is most places people go, and fewer places they do not.
If you need a live moving map in an empty area, you need a cellular GPS collar with a monthly plan instead. We would rather say so than sell you the wrong thing.
How do I choose a size?

How long does delivery take?
Eight to eleven business days anywhere in South Africa. Delivery is R100, and free on orders over R1,000. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.
What if it does not suit my dog?
Return it within 14 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging, for a refund. You cover return postage for a change of mind; we cover it if the item is faulty or we sent the wrong one. Wrong size or colour? We’ll help you exchange it, subject to availability.
